CONFIRM SHIPMENT - INDEX

Purpose:  The purpose of this program is to provide the user with a list of sample transactions that have been pick-ticketed but not yet fully confirmed. The default display is all sample transactions pick-ticketed but not fully confirmed.  However, with the use of a few search fields the user can filter the sample transactions to display.

Once all items on a sample transaction have been confirmed then the sample transaction will no longer display in this program.

Screen Options:

• Customer Search: The user can begin entering a customer’s name.  As the user enters the information, a search will be performed returning a list of customers that match the input.
• Transaction Number:  Either a partial or an 'Exact' match can be performed.
• Item Search:  The user can begin entering an item#.  As the user enters the information, a search will be performed returning a list of items that match the input.

Search:  Selecting ‘Search’ will change the display based on the above entered criteria (if multiple fields of information are provided then they are all checked and all must be satisfied to be displayed).

The list of sample transactions will display the following fields:  

• Transaction #
• Customer
• Entered On
• Date Shipped

Selecting a Sample Transaction:

• By placing the mouse on the transaction# and selecting the transaction, the user will be taken to the 'Confirmation' screen.  From there the user can confirm each individual item on the sample transaction, email the change to the customer, and a tracking number, notes, and carrier and shipping info.
